Good afternoon BUHSD parents and guardians,
As part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff, we wanted to inform you about the potential inclement weather conditions associated with Hurricane Hilary that may affect our region over the upcoming weekend. Brawley Union High School District is tracking tropical storm Hillary and the effects it may have on Imperial County and Brawley through various media. We are in communication with emergency teams from Imperial County, the City of Brawley, and other local school districts.
We will be monitoring all school district facilities throughout the weekend. At this time, we are still planning on starting school on Monday, August 21st, 2023. We will post updates on our district website, Instagram Account, Facebook page, and our Aeries Communication tool. If there are any planned changes to the first day of school, we will notify all parents and students as soon as possible. Please stay safe and remain vigilant regarding the potential storm threat.

El Distrito Unido de Escuelas Secundarias de Brawley está rastreando la tormenta tropical Hillary y los efectos que puede tener en el condado de Imperial y Brawley a través de varios medios.
