April is Autism Awareness month. Let's acknowledge and promote awareness by wearing the color blue on Wednesdays for the month of April.

ID's  We are working on two options for ID cards.  We have the digital ID from Minga available.  Download the app, information is below.

We also have physical ID's for students available in the ASB office for Class of 2026 and 2027.  First ID is free and then replacement ID's are $5.00.

PROM!
Attention Juniors and Seniors! The prom is on April 27th at the Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse in El Centro from 7 PM to 11 PM.  Tickets are priced at $80 per person, information available in room 61.

Before buying a prom ticket, it's necessary to complete a Clearance Form and have it signed by your parent or guardian. Clearance Forms are available from the ASB Office and should be returned to the Administration Office.

All detention hours, Saturday schools, and attendance requirements must be fulfilled and cleared before purchasing your ticket.

If your prom date is not a BUHS student, you must submit a completed guest pass to the Administration office for approval.

Prom tickets are $80 per person and can be purchased after school in Room 61 on the following dates: TBD.

Your prom ticket is a souvenir and you will not need to bring it to the dance. We will have a list.


TICKETS WILL BE SOLD TUESDAY, APRIL 16TH DURING LUNCH IN ROOM #61.

Cap and Gown Orders ($35.00), Rings, and Jackets. The cap and gowns are being ordered and will be distibuted from the ASB office when they arrive. We are planning for the cap and gowns to arrive this Thursday. We will have Civics class come over to ASB office during their class period.


Publications

  • Yearbook Ordering Information - fliers have been sent to student and parent emails with links and phone numbers for order directly through Jostens. If you need this information, contact Publications, Ms. Camargo, at mcamargo@brawleyhigh.org.  

    • Beginning November 1, yearbooks will be $75 until we sell out.

    • If yearbooks do not sell out by May 2024, they will be sold on a First-come, first-serve basis at the end-of-the-year distribution event for $80.

    • Make cash or check payments with Ms. Camargo or an editor in Room 54 - card payments are not accepted in room 54.

      • Checks can be made out to BUHS Publications

    • Card payments and Payment plans are available for online purchases only.

  • The website has been known to crash when overloaded with last minute orders so it is highly recommended to place your order before this date/time.

  • Check your email for the flier containing the link to the website, as well as sizing and pricing information, or contact Publications advisor, Ms. Camargo, at mcamargo@brawleyhigh.org.

COUNSELING
Attention Juniors and Seniors: If you signed up for the ASVAB exam, please report to the Cafeteria on Tuesday at 8am.  If you have any questions see Mr. FFelix in the counseling center.!

Juniors and Seniors - if you plan to take the ACT or SAT this spring and want some online prep to get ready for the test, please email Ms. Munguia at bmunguia@brawleyhigh.org.  She can give you access to prep lessons in albert.io if you don't already have access.

Seniors:  Local scholarship applications are starting to come in.  Please make sure to look at the scholarship page on our school website at least once a week.  You can access the page at brawleyhigh.org/scholarships
