Leslie Van Der Linden was chosen as an ACSA Teacher of the Year for Imperial County! Ms. Van Der Linden teaches English & Special Education at BUHS and is such an advocate for student success. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosendo (Rusty) Garcia, a valued Trustee of the Brawley Union High School District. Mr. Garcia graduated from BUHS, coached and mentored many students throughout the years, and served as a Trustee for over 20 years.
