September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. A month dedicated to raising awareness of the efforts to lower suicide rates in our country. Suicide and urgent and growing public health crisis. More than 49,000 people in the U.S. died by suicide in 2022. Awareness education about signs and resources can help people connect to crucial services they may need. Please join our resource fair on September 10, 2024 during lunch in front of the library to learn about resources available. Please see attached flyers.
Seniors: Any 12th Graders interested in being in the SDSU Rise program this year, the first meeting with the SDSU Team will be this Friday, September 13th in the Library during Tutorial. It is important that you attend to be able to participate in the program this year. Email or see Ms. Munguia if you have any questions. Thank you.

Yearbooks are on a DISCOUNTED price of $70 until October 31 - prices go up to $75 beginning November 1.
Yearbooks have sold out before June the last THREE years so it is highly recommended to purchase your yearbook as soon as possible.

Seniors, September 16th during tutorial the counseling department will hold a Higher Education Week Pre-Event Kick-Off." It is tentative to be held in the gym. Please be prepared to come to the new gym during tutorail on September 16th. Higher Education Week College Fair will be held on September 17th at 11:15 a.m.

Board Game Club
Will begin Friday, 9/13/24 during lunch in Room 44 with Ms. Ross. We meet every Friday during lunch. Come and have fun by playing board games with us. Bring your own lunch.

The CSF club is now distributing applications for 10th -12th grade membership in room 71. See Mr. Martinez in room 71 to see if you meet the grade requirements. The deadline to join the club is Friday Sept. 13th.

Will begin Monday, 9/9/24 from 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. in Room 44 with Ms. Ross. We meet every Monday after school. Come join us and create your own scrapbook photo book and save your high school memories. All supplies are provided, including photo printing.

The Village Club meets every Wednesday during lunch in room 65. The Village room 24 is open every collaboration Wednesday.
